Front Bumper Bracket for Jeep JL & JT

After trying to install these a couple of different ways (no instructions included), I got them to work. The FS-14 bumper goes on a 21 JLU without the adapters but the adapters create needed space for a winch. I found it best to put the adapters on the frame (oblong holes out). Then put the bumper on just far enough to get the nuts on the welded bumper bolts. Then slide the bumper against the adapters. There's very little space to finish tightening everything up.

I wouldn’t get a bumper that needs this. Bracket goes on super easy, and at first it looks like everything will be smooth. Nope! Was installing the FS 25 bumper on to my JLU and it was so difficult to get access to tighten a couple of the bolts that we took them off and fabricated a way to get the bumper on without it. Since the bracket was installed, no refund. Really love DV8 but the last purchase was made.

Well.. it is a very simple product… that is difficult to put on. Simple item that is only hard to install because it’s hard to get access to the “simple” nuts and bolts.. if you stay on it .. eventually you can tighten it up .. 1/8 of a turn at a time ..it seems like it just shouldn’t be that hard to leave some openings so you can get a wrench on it. No instructions of any use anywhere.

Lucky I work with tools everyday, install was tricky with these adapters. Ensure you have crowfoot wrenches to hold the nuts in place when mounting to the Jeep frame. No instructions on this anywhere.
