The DV8 Offroad TSJL-02 Jeep Wrangler JL Spare Tire Delete Kit allows you to remove the spare tire from your Jeep JL, and also provides a housing for the factory backup camera. This allows you to completely change the look of the Jeep, while protecting and relocating the backup camera. It also allows you to legally relocate your license plate from the bumper and even has a light to illuminate it.

We accept returns on damaged items with a valid Return Authorization Number or a RMA number. We will refund the full amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

fairly easy install, instructions would have been nice

So... mostly intuitive install... except. 16 washers, 8 bolts... not sure how that was supposed to go because it is impossible to hold all 8 bolts with a washer on each side of the delete plate and mount it to the jeep. Also the bolts for the camera are ALL SO SLIGHTLY to large (note to self, install the camera BEFORE mounting plate), dropped one of the nuts trying to put it on the bottom bolt (its gone into the gravel netherworld).. so camera is mounted with only 2 of the 3 bolts. Haven't gotten around to mounting the "light" not sure I'm going to, putting a vanity plate on instead and leaving license plate where it is... THE BIGGEST PAIN was getting the camera out of the housing, I ended up pounding on the lug bolts till they popped out. Someone noted that black hardware would have been nice, something changed because all my hardware came painted.

Looks great.

It looks amazing! Pretty easy to install, would have been easier with instructions. They updated the hardware to all Black which looks fantastic.

High quality, looks great

Overall very quality kit. Camera mount is perfect. I do wish the hardware came black but nothing a little paint couldn’t fix.

Slightly Disappointed

The camera mount housing doesn’t sit flush and covers part of the backup camera. The mounting holes just don’t line up. Too much work to take it back off and replace it when it still works. Please provide instructions next time… or a QR code to a how to video would be great.

Everything is good except the screws being silver color. The kit is black so it should come with black screws . It looks off with silver, had to get some black screws to make it look just right. Overall great kit!
