Just like I've come to expect from DV8 the product was packed well/individually wrapped but the instructions are sure lacking. Was able to get it all together in about 6 hours once I figured what I'd have to modify - if you have a Rubicon & want to save your red tow hooks you'll be in for a treat. Ended up having to press the studs out and getting longer hardware than was provided to install. Instructions state to install the hooks with the "studs facing away from the Jeep" but there's no way that would work and your hooks would be backwards.
All in all I do really like the look, very OEM but the powder coat had flaked in some areas (especially around bolt holes) & hardware provided for the frame bits weren't long enough (if you don't have the hooks or the desire to salvage them you would have been fine)
I ended up going with a Badlands 12k Winch and while it fits (very snugly I might add) due to the bumper/bull bar itself the clutch free spool knob cannot be fully engaged and I had to reroute the positive leg out the side/modify the plastic housing or it never would've cleared the grill. As it sits right now if I ever need to remove the grill again I'd have to remove the winch control box first. I'd imagine if you bought DV8's 12K winch that wouldn't have been an issue.
4 stars because all in all I'm happy with the look/but the installation was not without challenges so prepare to have a whole day to work on this. Also if if you have the Rubicon/Front Sway Bar Disconnect you're going to have to replace your skid plate too - stock won't fit with this bumper. Just Empty Every Pocket am I right? ;)
