2014-2023 Lexus GX 460 Front Bumper

Lots to like about the bumper, except for some things so far.

First, the instructions are terrible. There are typos, instructions missing steps and only some poor views of what's happening. This has GREATLY lengthened the time it takes to complete this. Also...no parts list? Which bolts go where? How many should I have? Why are there bolts left over?

Second, this was the worst-packed item ever. The spray foam used to seal the box after it was packed is the cheapest foam you could find: pieces of foam have gone everywhere, and I'm thankful I didn't open this where people walk or live.

The parking sensors seem like a nice idea, but there is no way to make parking sensors fit due to a) bad positioning in the bumper or b) the wire isn't long enough, or both. So, one touted benefit here is out the window.

Overall the best looking bumper available for this truck (in my opinion.) Big enough and sturdy enough to cover and protect everything important, while dramatically improving the problematic approach angle inherent to the stock GX. Build quality and powder coating are excellent.
Worth addressing some other reviews that I found about packaging and shipping-- I picked it up at the warehouse to avoid delays and problems. Whatever packing problems they may have had have been solved. It was boxed with a ridiculous amount of foam wrapping allowing zero movement in the box. So unless your delivery guy is intentionally trying to destroy it, it's going to arrive in perfect condition.
The other issue I read about was the installation instructions. On this I'm more sympathetic. The instructions are fine if you're a professional installer but for a first timer like myself, it took a lot longer than it needed to. The instructions for cutting the bumper were not super helpful and left out quite a bit of info. I did eventually get it sorted out but only after a lot of trial and error. If anyone from the company is reading this, I'd suggest including a simple paper template that can be placed on the bumper showing exactly where to cut. It would save an enormous amount of frustration.
All that said, the finished product is exceptional. If you're looking for a minimalist but strong bumper for mud or rock crawling, there is no better value.

-Fairlead mount hole too small- it rubs on the rope! MAJOR safety problem
-Grille will ONLY fit the DV8 fairlead, which you can't buy without buying their winch
-No recovery points- on an off-road bumper!
-No real crash structure over winch, although the winch mount and skid plate look strong
-Windshield washer tank hangs below bumper unprotected
-No accommodation for attaching wheel well liner or chrome to bumper
-It'd be better if the skid-plate bolts were on the side instead of underneath, where they'll snag on things and get worn off
-Poor instructions. Missing some key steps getting the chrome grille surround off, there are no torque specs, and the fascia cutting directions are less than accurate
