Our low profile MTO Series Tacoma Rear Bumper was designed as a direct replacement to the factory bumper, with no cutting or modification required for installation. It brings the addition of 2 reinforced clevis mounts that take ¾-inch D-rings, providing you with recovery options. A 3-inch light pod can be mounted behind the aluminum mesh panels towards each end of the bumper. These panels can be removed and painted, or left in their raw aluminum color.

At each corner of the bumper is a side step, as well as a step at the middle of the bumper, giving you multiple options to hop up and access the cargo in your truck bed. Our bumper is compatible with factory rear parking sensors and retains full functionality. The blind spot detection module does not function with this bumper.

Great bumper

Great quality, looks super clean. Really bummed it isn't "blind spot monitor" compatible, so had to ditch those. Instructions need to be a little better. The worst part and the only reason this bumper doesn't get five stars from me is that the tow light plug does not reach. DV8 should include an extension with the kit.

Overall great product, packaging was great, fits very nice. Only complaint is if you have a factory hitch plug because of the placement of the plug on the new bumper the original wiring harness won’t reach so you’ll need to re wire that.

Poor Fit and Function

Pulled bumper 3 times now and drivers side still sits out 1/2" more than passenger side. With a 1 inch gap between bumper and body under the tail light, looks like its time to get out the grinder and burr bits.
The angle on the license plate lights is so bad that you WILL get a ticket for a poorly illumitate plate, im going to have to wire up a frame light. Instruction dont tell you you will have to lengthen the trailer wiring harness.
