I’d much rather have nothing up there but if you’re like me and required to run a front plate then this is the way to do it. Dealer was ready to drill away when I bought my Bronco. Glad I told them to hold off!
Far superior product in place of netting. I never used the net because i didn't want to stretch it out. I found a much easier way to remove netting. Grab the netting and firmly pull up from the bottom. Net and the rod that holds it in the grove will pull out in one piece. No need to cut net. Took literally 30 seconds to remove
Fits like a glove, heavy steel:) Should protect control arm and shock brackets from damage.
I finally got the time to install my new door pockets today. They installed in minutes. Absolutely perfect. Love them!!!
This product is very well built. The fit was almost perfect. I have multiple DV8 products and am I am happy with them all. My one and only complaint/dissatisfaction is none of the products that I have purchased came with any instructions. Plenty of stickers though. I had to look up the instructions online. I can’t give 5 stars just for that reason alone.
2018 JL Rubicon, installed DV8 door pockets. Fit and finish is great, makes the door look like it should from the factory. DV8 is now on my go to list.
I love the look of it, but this thing was a booger to install. I have a 50 inch light bar, but I had to use a ratchet strap to pull the bars in to get the light bar on. Even a 52 inch light bar would've been tight. I'd recommend buying longer screws than the ones that come with your light bar and some spacers so you won't have to fight this thing so hard. It also doesn't sit flush against the vehicle towards the bottom of the windshield. There's a large gap that's just waiting to collect debris.
We do offer a 52-inch light bar that we recommend as a direct fit since the width can vary by brand. We do have dedicated technical assistance if you have additional questions or concerns regarding the installation.
I bought these because I wanted some unique Safari style doors that drew attention, but also looked classy and high-end. These definitely fit the bill. I’m happy with the way they were packaged and the way I received them. Definitely getting a lot of compliments on these especially for my base model Jeep gladiator.
I installed these dual light mounting brackets on my 2025 Toyota 4Runner, and the process was quick and straightforward. The brackets are impressively heavy-duty, made from thicker material than I expected. That turned out to be a pleasant surprise—they feel extremely solid and well-built.
Just got it installed. Looks great. Installing was a bit difficult due to having to take my hard top off. But once I had someone to help went pretty smoothly. The only thing I can recommend is the instructions could be clarified a bit better. With pictures of the brackets next to the instructions. Other than that all good. Can't wait to take my buddy for his first ride.
I wish I'd gotten these sooner. They look great, they fit perfectly, and they feel super sturdy... honestly they should just be the stock part on every Jeep (the nets are horrible!). I would recommend to anyone.
I would definitely recommend pulling the netting AND the wire out when you install. I originally only cut the netting off and the panel wasn't quite fitting right... a little frustrating until I figured it out.
I HAD ORIGINALLY PURCHASED AND HAD INSTALLED ANOTHER PRODUCT. IT LOOKED LIKE CRUD. SO, I SHOPPED AND DECIDED TO GET THE DV8 VERSION. IT'S PERFECT AND LOOKS AWESOME ESPECIALLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER CHANGES I MADE TO THE REAR LIKE THE DV8 STEEL REAR BUMPER...BAD ASS FOLKS...AND WHO NEEDS ALL THAT EXTRA WEIGHT AND EYESORE ANYWAY?
I HAD A MASTER MECHANIC INSTALL THE DV8 STEEL BUMPER AND REPLACE THE STOCK PLASTIC ALONG WITH THE DV8 TIRE DELETE AND WITH THE ORACLE REPLACEMENT LED REAR LIGHTS AND MAGNAFLOW BLACK CAT BACK IT LOOKS BAD ASS... LOVE IT ... AND IT WORKS WITH MY GOBI ROOF RACK SYSTEM.
Luckily my dealer didn’t install the factory front plate mount, as it would have been screwed into a painted plastic surface and looked less than optimal. This is a heavy duty solid solution to mount a front plate. At first I thought I could weld up my own solution, but I am very happy with this product and glad I let them do the work instead. Worth every penny.
Great upgrade to the sagging stock nets. Solid design and easy install.
This bumper is is just what my Jeep was needing! The OpenRoad 12K winch hits perfect and the OEM fog lights were an easy swap over. I do wish there was some sort of wire loom cover or attachment points instead of just rigging something up with tape..
I purchased this item a week or two ago and just got around to installation. Overall the quality is great! I was unable to use the supplied flanged bushings for the factory D-ring tab. I purchased some flanged (top-hat) rubber bushings on Amazon along with some rubber fender washers to use as spacers and made it work just fine. Bushing listing below if you need them. Very happy with the product though. I can remove the plate when we wheel. Texas requires a front license plate and the cops will pull you over without when just for fun I think. Solid investment. The factory Ford plate mount is terrible and requires drilling holes into the factory modular bumper. Like everything else DV8 makes rock solid construction!!! Get some!
Note: The holes in the Ford tabs were the issue here...not a DV8 issue.

An honest to God review on this DV8 bumper. Great quality and good materials. Only problem I had was instructions weren't very clear and the first time I bumped somebody out of a rut the bumper slid forward on the bolts attached to the frame. Shouldn't be a problem to fix but I feel like it should be a fixed bolt to the frame or something. Just something to look into. Other than that, im satisfied with it so far.
Thank you for leaving a review! Please reach out to our tech team at tech@dv8offroad.com. They will be able to assess your issue.
I had running boards installed on my Bronco which left the old attachment holes for the rock rails viewable and looked awful. I found these covers online and installed them myself (I am not a car person whatsoever). The install did take about 30 mins- because see above. But overall I’m so happy with the results. Pics incl’d
As with other accessories I have purchased from DV8, the receiver hitch skid bar is very well made and also nice to be able to replace the composite skid.
I only wish it was possible to buy a single D-Ring, as I have a pair on my new front bumper and those are also much nicer than most of the other items offered online.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass on the note to the product team about offering single D-Rings.
Right away the build quality stands out. The steel construction feels heavy-duty without being excessive, and the welds and powder coating give it confidence for long-term use in rough conditions. Like the integrated light bar space, keeps the setup clean and functional. Even though, I am no thinking about adding a winch soon, this bumper really shines with its future-proof design, in case you want to take your time with your build.
Nice LC! Thanks for your feedback.
At first, I was hesitating bc did not know if I was going to like the look. But after adding it, I do not think I can go back. I really enjoy the look plus gives me peace of mind (I hit a deer a couple of years ago and wish I had one them 😁). Highly recommend it.
I set up my 2025 GMC 1500 with the tube bumper in the front and the non tube bumper in the rear. It looks so awesome. I had a guy stop me on the road the other day wanting to know what brand the bumpers were, he loved them. I got the full light package it turns dark roads into daylight. Thanks DV8
Truck looks great!
