Need to knows….

Yes, this does work..butttt, things to know when buying an ACC relocation bracket. Hope this helps someone else with issues we came across.

So, followed instructions exactly, cut the stuff needed and installed the ACC on the new DV8 relocation bracket. As we drove my Bronco around we kept getting notifications saying, “ Pre-Collision Assist Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual” & “Adaptive Cruise Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual.”

There was no physical things blocking the ACC (besides grill and that should not throw a code) and the ACC was clean.

After looking up solutions on Bronco6G Forum we noticed there were other ppl having these issues as well.

We came to the conclusion that the radar coming out of the ACC was facing to low towards ground and that’s why it was saying it was blocked.

After using a smart level, taking grill off and adjusting the ACC ever so slightly by .5 degrees and 1 degree either left right or up & down…doing this 5 times while driving it in town..on the freeway, behind small cars (ACC would shoot radar over small cars..had to adjust down), driving more to the left and right of cars….basically tried driving it behind and every way possible after every adjustment.

…we finally got it to work properly ha
We then took it to our maintenance friend that works at Ford for a second opinion and he gave us the assurance that it was now working properly as well.

So. Haha just some fun facts in case you come across the same issues.

Good luck and have fun ha, and hopefully you’ll get it working properly too.

The only reason I give the bracket 4 stars is because I wish DV8 would make it more known about the issues or solutions to them when or if you come across it when installing this bracket. It took some time and research to figure it out. Other than that, it works.

Install was as per the instructions, and could be accomplished in said time although it took me longer. Recommend cutting the plastic with an oscillating tool if you have one. Fitment was close but required slight hole enlargement with burr bit in the die grinder for where the wire connector clips onto the sensor. Then slightly elongated holes on top to move sensor wire away from hood release cable clip. Initial road test worked fine. Would recommend.

Thanks Jesse, we appreciate the time taken to leave us a review!

Straight forward

I installed my ACC relocation bracket on my 22 Badlands in an evening after work. Really did only take about 2.5 hours as advertised. I picked Dv8 because of the detailed installation instructions and after watching a couple you tube installs. Install was straight forward and no stress. I have not tried it out on the road yet but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Now I just need my winch bumper to arrive and I’ll be all set. Thanks DV8

Installed today and works great

I was a little nervous having the lighted Bronco lettering in the grill, but it works just fine on the freeway on my way home. Great detailed directions. Take your time, read the directions carefully, and you’ll be fine putting this on.
