The DV8 LPBM-01 License Plate Winch Bracket was introduced due to the demand for a functional 50 state legal license plate mount that allows off-roaders to “flip and winch." Just pull the plate up and you are ready for recovery. Mounts to any fairlead (roller or hawse), and keeps your rig street legal.

Not Universal fit, even on DV8 bumpers

Like the description says it won't fit any fairlead that is recessed in the bunper, the only modification I had to do was trim two corners about an inch and make the mounting bolt holes slightly larger. Mine was mounted on a DV8 bumper. I also didn't care for the finish (odd vein-y semi shine) so I sanded and paining to make it more matt black. Overall construction is rugged and flips and holds as designed. Overall very satisfied and would recommend.

The buyer should know its not plug and play and slight modification may be needed. Overall an easy project to tinker around with on a Saturday.

DV8 flip up license plate holder

Excellent product looks good when installed. My only knock would be to say that it could be a little wider. I installed with a Warn hawse fairlead and had a small bit of trouble fitting between the bends of the holder. was able to complete by cinching down with the bolts. Needed to use a little longer bolts which should have been supplied with the kit but weren't . Overall I am very pleased with the product and the appearance.

Awesome plate mount. With modification...

Got this plate mount for our 2022 Bronco. Got both front and rear bumpers. Rear mount is good. Front did not come with them so we added it. Bad part is that there needed to be some small modifications in order to fit the dv8 bumper which should not have been needed. Had to cut off a small portion of the bottom. Once trimmed off it fit flawless. Now for the extra... The existing bolts for the winch portion were barely long enough. Would have been nice if some longer (1/4" longer maybe) bolts were supplied. I made the ones work for the time being. Overall I love the plate mount and design. I will be buying more parts in the future.

Great looking, functional bracket with a flaw

While this relocate bracket looks great and works well, it doesn't fit on the DV8 Spec Series Front Bumper with the Bull Bar without modification. The arches from the mounting plate up to the pivot point don't clear the bull bar, and the points on each side below the mounting plate hit the top of the bumper. Both require grinding in order to fit. Other than that, it's a great way to mount your license plate and protect your winch hook and line from debris and the sun. The plate flips up out of the way when you need access to the winch hook. If it wasn't for it not fitting our bumper out of the box, this would definitely be 5 stars!
