Our Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator Center Console Molle Panels are the perfect addition to your overlanding set up. We accept returns on damaged items with a valid Return Authorization Number or a RMA number. We will refund the full amount minus the shipping costs for the return and a 25% restocking fee.

2023 JL console molle panel install review

The panels are very sturdy and well made, the chosen (designed is too generous) mounting method is more difficult than it should be. There is a perfectly good mounting bolt from the factory at the front of the place the panels mount to, this should have been utilized. Additionally, rivnuts in plastic, in my opinion, is not a good choice. The tool sent to install the rivnuts is next to useless, the amount of force needed to compress the rivnut (thereby installing it) is too great for a plastic substrate. It would probably work ok in metal, but I did not even try it on the plastic due to the larger required hole (which if the rivnut failed to install properly would have made using the provided hardware impossible). As I said, they are well made (although I do not like the fact they are made in china), but the mounting could have been so much better with a little more forethought and effort.

Nice but not great.

These are well made and look great but install is a pain.You’ll want to buy nutsert tool so you don’t mess it up. They don’t fit right either but maybe that’s because I have a 2-door. You won’t be able to slide the seats all the way forward with mounted gear. The return policy is terrible, a 25% restocking fee is ridiculous. Customers shouldn’t eat the cost of doing business online.

Use a real nutsert tool

Installed on a 2024 Rubicon, the fit an finish is perfect and once installed looks great and functions perfectly. I installed the driver's side first and tried the nutsert tool included (bolt, washer, and rod coupling) on the front attachment which failed miserably. I resorted to crushed fingers and a modified end wrench with tape to finish the drivers side. For the passenger side I decided to get out my real nutsert tool (like the pictures in the instructions) and the install took less than 10 minutes. I am very please with results, the panels are more ridged than I expected. I mounted a Midlan GMRS radio on the driver's side and a first aid bag on the passenger's side.

Center molle plates that work

The plates are well design nice fit good lines. Install was easy. Wasn’t sure if the placement nuts were going to work but after practicing a little bit holds the plate perfectly with gear attached.
